New Years Resolutions Are A Bunch Of Bull Crap!

Do you find yourself making the same New Years Resolutions each year?

If you are, I am here to tell you why I think they are complete crap.

Statistics show more than 75% of people who begin a New Year’s Resolution quit within the first 3 months. When it comes to setting New Year’s Resolutions, the stats are not on your side.

The main reason why we think that setting a New Year’s Resolution for your health is a bad idea is because your health is more important than that.

Your health and your well being should not be dependent on you making a resolution, especially considering the high rate of failure.

I say this not because I don’t believe you shouldn’t focus on getting healthier, BUT because I don’t believe you should wait for the New Year to make the commitment. For the last 3 months I have heard too many people say that they are going make a New Year’s resolution to get back eating healthy.

The fact is, you never know when health issues and disease, will sneak up on you. You don’t get to decide to put these off until after the New Year. We don’t get that choice.

What we do get, is the choice to live in the moment and make better choices.

We don’t get to decide whether we are going to just wake up healthy, or we are going to wake up with diabetes. Nobody gets to decide this as it is determined over time, whether you are planning a New Year’s resolution or not. It is a result of year after year of bad choice after bad choice.

And if you find yourself already there then I know you didn’t ask for it by choice.

I’m not asking you to go all in today… what I am asking is that you begin making better choices, little bit at a time until you are where you want to be. Remember it’s not perfection BUT progress
